But in today’s sensory-overload world, we’re not always able to discern real from imagined threats to our well-being, especially when we’re called to a life of spiritual growth and authentic living.

Setting boundaries is one challenging area of spiritual growth. When we begin to master that, to find our Authentic No, we are practicing emotional courage and spiritual self-love. On the other hand, the Authentic Yes springs from divine guidance and stretching our previous limits so that we may grow. Both are necessary, and both move us forward in vital and exciting ways.
