September 8th, 2024 - The Power In Affirmative Prayer

I had never heard of affirmative prayer before coming to Unity. Honestly, I thought it sounded kinda weird , but I’ve since learned it is very practical .  It is about confirming the truth , that you are one with God and therefore your prayers are sacred . Make the connection with Source(God) in your mind and state your prayer with power . Release the outcome knowing your good is on its way to you. Come and see firsthand your UOW prayer chaplains use this process  in action.  Be the first to pray with them and receive their blessing. Sept. 1st, 2024 - Practicing the Presence

This month we are talking about spiritual practices that will help you on the path toward awakening or enlightenment.( Enlightenment is a path not a destination). Practicing the Presence  is all about being aware , aware of your breath , your thoughts, and your attention. Where does your attention go when you are at work, or at play or at rest? Where is your focus? This practice dovetails with mindfulness ; you might say it is mindfulness. Let's have some fun discovering the benefits of presence and mindfulness. You might be pleasantly surprised how much this practice will improve your daily life. 

Aug. 25th, 2024 - Your Hope of Glory: Shall We Journey Together?

We’re all on a journey.  We are at different stages and different states, but isn’t it better to be doing it with friends?  Let’s explore, through a metaphysical lens, how being in community we support each other’s receptivity to a life full of abundance -- love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, forgiveness, compassion, humility -- and an awakening awareness of the glory within. 

Aug. 18th, 2024 - Embracing Your Whole Mess (Wholeness)

Oneness is foundational to Unity New Thought, however, I wonder how many of us practice living from our Oneness ? In this lesson, we will explore the spiritual truth that we are all one, and moreover, we are one within ourselves and Spirit. When we awaken to our Oneness , we can finally release and let go of the expectations we have for ourselves and others. Life begins to flow , like a brook into a pond ( Spirit ) .

Aug. 11th, 2024 - Giving and Recieving

Giving and receiving are essentially two sides of the same coin.  In the metaphysical approach to prosperity, giving and receiving are essential to becoming prosperous. The affirmative attitude is constantly saying “yes” to life and God’s divine ideas. With such an attitude, you will become  truly prosperous. Even if you are not concerned with material wealth, you  will experience prosperity of the very highest order. You will be free from financial worries and thoughts of lack.

July 28th, 2024 - We've Got Power

Have you ever loved someone and not liked them? Let's talk about what it's like to have those feelings. Somewhere in all of this, what comes up for me is unconditional love and guess what ... We've Got Power. Power is one of the aspects of God, like Love, they are our birthright, we came with those pearls of great price and many more. I look forward to being with you on July 28th to share with you what I've been learning about these two spiritual powers of man!

July 21st, 2024 - The Narrowing Way

As we journey along the spiritual path, a vast array of possibilities unfold before us.  However, as these endless opportunities present themselves, the path we walk paradoxically becomes narrower.

July 14th, 2024 - Keep Growin, Keep Flowin.

Letting go and letting God is a constant practice, a moment to moment meditation that requires us to not cling and to be present.  To access our divinity fully, we learn to trust the natural unfolding of creation over our personal desires.

Unity Principle #2 reminds us:  “I am naturally good because God’s Divinity is in me and in everyone.” Tracy Brown is back, with a reminder that beauty is not limited to what we see in movies and marketing. Beauty is not defined by what we see when we look in the mirror. Our true beauty shines through when we commit to living as an example of God’s Divine Intention.
