A spiritual life is merely theoretical until we put action to it. Throughout time and throughout our lives, we have been inspired by masculine energy in humans (regardless of gender) who bring thoughts and ideas into manifestation. They have the strength to lead, create, and protect that which is most sacred. Today we honor masculine energy that we call Father.

“Fostering Spiritual Resiliency: Letting Go of Your Stories and Letting the Light In” Too often we try to ‘force’ ourselves into grace as if it’s something we can attain, when the truth is that it is already in us. By softening and releasing, not clinging and grasping, we strengthen ourselves and our connection to the divine.

From the beginning of our spiritual lineage in the Hebrew Bible, the importance of naming all things has been emphasized. We cannot know who we are or how we feel until we hone our naming skills. Likewise, our ability to create with words (internally and externally) becomes more powerful as we focus consciously on what we wish to see in our lives and in the world.

One of the necessary components of a healthy and abundant life is forgiveness.  Sometimes it feels as if forgiveness must be deserved before it can be bestowed.  but in Truth, forgiveness for ourselves and others provides freedom to live in harmony, no longer entrapped by resentment or anger.  The subtleties of forgiveness move us toward a deeper conversation with our inner guidance and the discovery of the Christ spirit in others.

This Sunday, we’ll explore how abundance abounds in our lives. We’ll look at what Charles Fillmore, Unity’s co-founder, says about Abundance, as well as ways to recognize the abundant bountiful activity of Spirit. We hope you’ll join us as we delve into the abundance of our lives.

It is not possible for us to comprehend all the “faces” of God while we are in human form. However, we do experience many facets of the Divine, one of them being the nurturing, protecting nature that we often find reflected in the natural world. Today we focus on the feminine aspect of God---the one we have experienced in quiet moments of reflection and in those who have sheltered and encouraged us in our lives.

Our prosperity consciousness requires regular “checkups” on our overall health: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. It’s good to have a “master health plan!” We will explore best practices for polishing up that plan, and grounding ourselves for any challenge that comes our way. Make sure you’re familiar with your sacred DNA.

The Easter story of resurrection is one that has been examined and discussed for centuries. Along with other religious holidays, however, its meaning is not confined to one day in the calendar. Rather, it carries a daily message of rebirth. Unity confounder Charles Fillmore said, “EVERY time we rise to the realization of eternal, indwelling life, making union with the [God]-Mind, the resurrection of Jesus takes place within us.” If we are practicing the presence of God as often as we can, then we are constantly resurrected! That is the reason we mark Easter---to reaffirm our renewal as a living, breathing part of our lives!
