We need each other. We need the beautiful, messy, joyful, challenging, uplifting interactions that help us grow and let us exchange love. We cannot thrive in a vacuum, nor do we benefit from an echo chamber that simply parrots our conditioned thoughts. Our “tribe” is the perfect place for us to become who we were created to be—-because we are united as One.

"How" Is None of Your Business

What a paradox: to be diligent and consistent in our spiritual life, becoming more aware of our thoughts and opening our minds and hearts to the tools of growth---only to be advised that we are required to “Let Go and Let God.” How can we reconcile the longings of our hearts with the relinquishing of them? How do we make a plan of action and then leave it to Spirit for its fulfillment? Let’s explore what is ours to do and what is ours to give up. The title of the this talk is a clue.

Here at Unity of Wimberley, we are lucky to have many active and thriving teams and groups in which you may find meaningful ways not only to contribute o the life of our community and beyond, but also to enjoy rich relationships with others as you satisfy your urge to serve.  This Sunday, you will hear from some of our team leaders who will share what calls them to demonstrate God-in-self, and the rewards of doing so.  This is a unique opportunity for our community to see each other in a different light, and to explore our personal urge to be part of something greater than ourselves.
