Praying is not always the first thing we do when faced with a dilemma or crisis!  The practice of prayer is like exercising a muscle - we choose to strengthen it so that it becomes second nature.  We will explore the basics of practical, affirmative prayer.  

Heaven on Earth (Day)

This Sunday we celebrate the mystery and majesty of our precious Earthly home.  Associate Spiritual Leader Kit Holmes (with Guest Musical Artist Sharon Bousquet) explores the Divine Nature of Nature itself - in, through, and as us.  

Universal Worship - A Celebration of Spiritual Unity

Revs. Wahhab and Batina Sheets will be conducting an adaptation of the Universal Worship service transmitted by Hazrat Inayat Khan, who first brought the Sufi Message to the West in 1910.  A simple candle lighting service, the Universal WOrship service celebrates the unity of all religions through musical attunements and readings from the sacred texts of multiple religions and follow with a brief message highlighting the continual flow of the Divine Message to us to day.  

The Second Half of Life

We spend the first half of life finding and identifying who we are, what our place is in the world.  Eventually, some of our most precious ideas and the thoughts about who we are begin to break down.  We face struggles and suffering, and we have to learn healthy self-criticism.   Presented by Rev. Jill Carey.
