The Messiah was expected to bring peace to the earth.  And it will.  Through us.

Advent is a season of preparation, as we celebrate once again the birth of the Christ in us, an awareness of our divine consciousness. But first, we need to remember it’s possible!

We have an annual holiday to be grateful for all we have received.  But what puts the "give" in Thanksgiving?

A friend says Unity is for people who want to be Buddhist but aren’t ready to give up Jesus. Or God. Wait, what exactly do we have to leave behind on this path?

The death and destruction we see on the nightly news are nothing new for our planet. The Bible is full of pain, grief and suffering. One whole book is dedicated to “lamentations,” bemoaning the destruction of Jerusalem 2,500 years ago. What are we positive thinkers to make of life’s real tragedies?

We know Jesus was inclusive, conversing with the misfits, oddballs and pariahs of his day – even women! And he was relentless about caring for the poor. How are we doing by his standards, individually and as a church?

Jesus was called a blasphemer when he linked himself with God, but we all are God, like a vine and its branches.  That means the salvation of humanity - and the ongoing creation of the earth - are up to us.
