As the Easter season has completed its cycle, let’s review the mystical movement from Palm Sunday to Pentecost Sunday as we prepare ourselves for the receiving of the Holy Spirit. In celebration of Mother’s Day, we bless all of the people in our lives who have nurtured and cared for us.  The gifts of the mother are expressed in visibly active ways, including encouragement, the sharing of wisdom, and guidance.  As powerful and necessary as these activities are, we can also experience the divine feminine in ways of being, such as allowing, non-interference, and acceptance.  As we trust and allow the divine feminine to express itself as us, we embody a generosity of spirit that comes with the realization that nothing gets left undone.

We are apertures through which the universe is exploring itself.  Taking a closer look at the God that resides in us and in all things is the key to a lasting, enriched, and fulfilling experience in our own journey.

 I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase “Don’t kiss and tell”, well in another context that may be appropriate.  However, when it comes to practicing principles that are intended to improve the quality of our lives wouldn’t you want to tell everyone!  This week we will explore how one principle and four practices can improve our lives in such a way that we will want to tell everyone so that we live in a world truly meant for everyone!”  With Rev.  According to the Bible, the peace of God, “which transcends all understanding,” is the harmony and calmness of body, mind, and spirit. Thich Nhat Hanh wrote a book and titled it: “Peace is Every Step,” Ghandhi reminded us: "There is no way to peace. Peace is the way." Let’s explore how we can bring peace into our lives and contribute to more peace in the world. Palm Sunday recalls the historic event of Jesus entering Jerusalem and being greeted with audible "hosannas" from the crowds who paved the path into the city with palm leaves before him. Metaphysically, the "hosanna" and the "palm leaves" represent an awareness and recognition of the divine Christ Presence that Jesus embodied. In the words of Eric Butterworth, Jesus was not the "great exception," he was the "great example" that celebrates the Divine Christ Potential in us all.  With Rick Busby, LUT
